Proper seating height increases the student’s COMFORT and most
importantly prevents, back, arm and wrist strain.Taking
time to set up the ideal height for each student allows the upper arm/elbow to
fall freely from the shoulder.Position the elbow slightly above the keys to allow the wrists to relax. This helps the hands
to curve naturally over the keyboard to improve finger strength and agility.
The addition of a 1-1/2" or 3" stacker box on the bench positions most students comfortably. Next, the footrest level can be addressed easily to achieve proper posture.
